Introduction to Federico 2.0 and Fedora Commons

Federico (Fedora Enabled Repository with Cocoon) is a state-of-the-art XML Metadata Repository for the Collaborative Climate Community Data and Processing Grid C3GRID- developed at the Computer Center of the Alfred Wegener Institute in scope of the work package #3 of Wissgrid, The Long-Term Digital Preservation of Research Archives, and sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)-Germany. This presentation was held at the eScience Lab of the University of Bremen as a technical consulting to the Project QualiService, which is focused in the development of digital repositories.
