Abstract

The temperature dependence of the radar backscattering coefficient on a horizontal-horizontal polarization, measured by the SAR ALOS over the territory Samolovsky Island, are studied in the paper. In article was shown, the temperature dependence of the backscattering coefficient on the horizontal-horizontal polarization is strongly correlated with soil temperature measured at a depth of 5 cm.
