Abstract

Soziale Aspekte auf deutschen Polarexpeditionen von 1868-1939 werden sozialgeschichtlich bearbeitet und dargestellt. 3 Expeditionen werden in diesm Artikel zum Vergleich herangezogen: Antarktis-Expeditionen von Drygalski (1901-1903) und Filchner (1911-1912)sowie die Deutsche Grönland-Expedition von Wegener 1930-1031.
