Abstract
Die Ergebnisse des 5. Sachstandsberichts des Weltklimarates werden vorgestellt. Hinsicht der zu erwartenden Klimaänderungen der verschiedenen Szenarien liegt der Schwerpunkt auf dem europäischen Raum, bzw. zentraleuropäische bis regionale Auswirkungen, wenn möglich. Die im IPCC vorgestellten Anpassungs und Vermeidungsoptionen werden diskutiert.
